DEC approval – nothing yet Carp Gate Bid – pending Goose Egg Oiling – Hank will contact Bill to help and Paul F will help – it’s a 28 day nesting period – we should oil on the weekend of April 22nd . We have the permit already. Parklands: 223 Haviland Tree removal – Rich will look at it on 4/7 to access it 350 Lake Shore parkland restoration – Town hall will recommend how to properly restore what was removed Gerry’s work order: we need him to do some clean up Letter to Lake Shore owners Doggie bag refills – as needed April 22nd trash clean up – make flyers and ask Town Hall if there are providing the bags. Once available someone will pick up from Town Hall Illegal parking - pending Walking path layout – we need a plan once it is laid out by the articitechet – 4 feet wide – how do we clear it? Send out RFQ’s for estimates on clearing the land – possibly as a community service project? Hank will coordinate that part of the process Boathouse Lock – Dennis will handle it Interlaken picnic table: fix and painted – Have Gerry work on this Bass Boat on Interlaken ransomed – we confiscated the boat and now he wants it back Mowing bids: All Seasons has the bid for mowing: beach and ballfield Port-o-sans: The one for the ballfield was delivered 4/6/17 and the beaches will be delivered May 1st Launch the walkouts and rafts they can possibly be put out – April 29th Wedding: May 7th Dock repair: Hank can assess them and then Gerry and Dennis can repair them Life guard equipment check should be completed by Allison Phone activation: AED from Town Hall Shelving in the shed to be installed Assemble the picnic tables Move over the old picnic tables to Fairfield Beach Shade Shelter – look into purchasing one Minutes: 4/6/17 – Public Session

Remove and garbage and debris Algaecide Treatments Cutrine Plus application and it is at the DEC Carp Gate construction: Goose Egg Oiling: Volunteers will go out and locate the goose nests and oil the eggs. Parkland: April 22nd: Earth day clean up – clean up the beach and parklands and also around the neighborhood Walking Path: - request for volunteers – as soon as the weather is fine – it will be marked out by the architect engineer. We need volunteers to clear the brush and vines. Beaches: Dock replacement / DASNY equipment grant Contracts for weed removal, sand spreading will be going out soon Wedding on Warren – May 7th Bracelets & Stickers to be handed out on Warren Beach– dates TBD Beach Opening – Saturday May 27th – Lifeguards will be on duty weekends only until school is out. Then they will be on duty 7 days a week Boats: Re-register all boats 2017; including kyacks Stickers are available March 1st at Town Hall – beach bracelets will be available also next week at town hall Ballfield: Basketball Court: The fence was installed and the trees will be planted once the land dries out a little, the ground is to wet. Then the grass will be planted. Board Members in attendance: Hank Earle, Laura Russo, Pat Ploeger, Lucinda Johnson; Cesira Farrell; Paul Farrell, Mike Ercole Salute to the Flag Minutes: Approved through 2/2/17 Lake Management: Pat called SOLitude for the status of the Cutrine Plus application and it is at the DEC Parkland: Illegal parking: No report yet – still pending Dennis has been approved to install a new lock at the boat house Pat and Cesira are working on drafting a letter to Lake Shore owners re: Lake Beaches: Lawn Mowing the beaches and parkland: bid will be awarded for 2017 to start on 4/6 Purchase of picnic tables from Uline – Pat will schedule a delivery date Prepare the beaches for May 27th opening day Beach inspection at least a week before opening day Dock repair and launching - Hank will send out RFQ’s Weed removal – Hank will send out RFQ’s Then Dennis can make repairs to the walkouts and rafts as needed prior to beach opening day Ballfield/Basketball Court: Winter Bros. was awarded the bid for a dumpster at the ballfield We decided on the placement of benches, trees and the fences at the Basketball court Softball: Must be paid by April 9th or they can’t start playing. We approved the budget. Swim Team: review procedures and Pat will contact the Head Coach and Asst Coach. If they are not available we need to recruit and hire new people. Same fees as last year for the swim team prices Website: Update as needed Press releases – put on the Town VFW board for our next meeting April 6th and the Easter Egg Hunt April 1st Obtain the ID badges: from Jamie G – Mike will follow up Newsletter: In progress, looking to add some pictures 2017 Season: Prepare the manuals for swim team & life guards Prepare a long term plan for the park district – start thinking of where do we see the Park Land in 10 years Start discussing the carp gate process for Fall 2017 Lake Management: DEC approval – the DEC has changed the process and it is a little more difficult than it has been in the past.
Parklands: Walking Path: Approval for Terri Hahn for about 8 hours to mark out the path using a few of her interns. Lock on the boathouse: we need it replaced so we can add it to the list for Dennis to work on Boat procedure: Update the forms and enforce Letters for Lakeshore owners re: regulations – add suggestions then the town can send it out Sportech is responsible to us for completing the process and let us know when it is complete. Then we can work on the fences, benches and the trees. Then we need 3 prices for the trees, the benches and fences. She can start quickly after approval. We discussed erosion ideas and bridges. We spoke to AAA this week about picking up 9 pails instead of 6 pails. It would be an increase of $10 Illegal parking: Pat sent a report to Bob of details of the cars violating the law Illegal dumping: has been addressed to a few violators – it will be addressed on an on-going basis We will have to follow up on septic pumping for Lake residents. The 5 year warning is up We are looking to revamp the boat tag numbers for 2017 starting at #1, new forms, and start fresh and show ID. The tags will be available March 1st at Town Hall. Beaches: We have a DASNY grant in the process just not sure where it currently is in the process for the new dock replacement. The grant is for $50,000 and some of the quotes are approximately $75,000 Ballfield: Basketball Court: The base is down and we need to get court sealed, marked, hoops, re-seed and fencing, and trees planted. We are waiting for the company to give us the timeline. We have heard a lot of complaints from the residents about wanting to start using it Recreation & Events: We have a new Events coordinator Lisa Formisano A list of events for the entire year will be posted once approved. Winter Gathering: Feb 11th from 1-3pm @ Warren Beach – Hot cocoa, toast marshmallows by the fire. Parkland: Walking Path: The Town of Patterson Highway Dept won the low bid and removed all of debris Boats: Must be removed by Dec 1st. Boats will be removed by this weekend Dock replacement: DASNY equipment grant – pending Ballfield: Basketball Court: The court is ready but the hydro seeding was done on Election Day and it didn’t take, due to the heavy rain and crows. Playing has been delayed, per the Town Request. We will be putting up, fences and benches Youth League: Flag Football: we have the set, so we just need to get volunteers or the Patterson REC center to start playing and go down and play on the field Volleyball on the Beach – possibility of a tournament Recreation & Events: Holiday Parade: PLPD won 2nd place in the parade Children’s New Year’s Eve Party: 2nd Annual party for the kids. 100 kids + parents – co-sponsored by the PLPD and the PLFD- A very Special Thank you to all of the organizers. Plans are done, the specs will be done in June and bids can back by July and then late Sept we can lower the lake and start working. The fire dept will work on a boat ramp at the boat house and will pay for it. They need to work with Town Hall on the specs for the ramp The CSLAP for 2017 has been approved.
