Pledge of allegiance to the flag
Minutes – next meeting
Old Business: lake management – Pat – spoke to Rich – What was the grant for? What was paid for already?
We are in step 2 of 3 of approval process for the grant
Weed mapping – Pat spoke to Chris and mappings are done – results are behind. Should be ready for Nov meeting – Rich will fill out the carp application – then we will vote – or should we get opinions from people that have carp first? But only talk to the chairperson of each group – maybe select 5 groups- once we get approved for carp then we can discuss the carp gate. No need for carp gate if we do not get carp
Dam – Bruce Major questioned the dam – maybe burdened financially on the town as a whole/PLPD as a whole.
Mike Griffin promised the PLPD will not be totally responsible for the financially burden when the district was being formed. Budget -$25k for a fluese(sp) gate. DEC budget is $300,000
There is a formula for the Dam – all good news.
Nothing is written in stone – town attorney is looking into it with the attorney general – The town should be responsible – if dam breaks everyone will have an issue.

Neighborhood watch – what is it: Pete said it started in the spring, a group coming together to look out and be aware. Window stickers and signs are being ordered. We want people to pay attention of surroundings. This is positive not negative to real estate sales.
