Trash Barrels: will be put out on Saturday 6/4. We need to get prices for concrete pads for the trash barrels.
Boathouse Security: Pat reported the NYCONN security will supply a lockable cabinet for the NVR and monitor for $250. The board requested that other prices be obtained.
Handyman Projects: Kickboards need to be sanded, painted and installed by June 24th. The ballfield benches need to be sanded, painted and repaired. Hank prepared a list of projects which need to be prioritized.
Beach Security: The board discussed locking the beaches at 9 PM and opening them at 6 AM. A decision could not be reached so the issue was tabled for a later date.
Trash Removal: Pat asked for volunteers to bring the beach trash out to the curb on Wednesday and Thursday nights until the lifeguards start working weekdays. Laura and Lucinda volunteered.
Basketball Court: Pat reported that Jim Gagliardo has completed the drainage project . She also emailed the specs for the court to Peckham to see if they can provide some of the materials.
Mowing: All Seasons has been reminded to trim all of the grass on the ballfield playing area including the left field hill. Lacona and Parma should be weed whacked monthly per their contract.
Little League: Mike reported that the Patterson Little League would not be using Memorial Field this season.
Softball League: The Town has requested that the PLPD send the league commissioner a letter regarding adherence to Chapter 116-21.
Fireworks: We are waiting for a price and estimate from Joe Paddock.
Bands on the beach: Hank has asked Scotty Cairney if he would perform on the beach some night during the summer. Pat will firm up the date and fee.
Nature walk for kids – Lucinda will contact Cornell to organize these walks.
Movie night at the Beach: Marguerite will organize
Electronic bulletin board: pending
Handyman: Pat will ask for the cost per hour for using the Town’s handyman.
Fishing Tournament: Hank set the date of July 16th for the tournament.
Geese: Pat will order a coyote for the beach to scare away the geese.
Boats on the Beaches: Clear the boat storage area at Warren Beach, Interlaken, & Jackson - so people can launch kayaks and not use the beach
Maintenance Man: The board discussed the need for a part time maintenance person to take care of minor chores a board member would otherwise have to do, or would be costly for the town’s handyman to do. Pat will make an application to the town to have Gerry Doyle rehired.
