Lake Management: We did Algaecides. We may need another treatment. There is no blue/green algae. Let’s ask for approval just in case we need another treatment ASAP.
Carp – pending
Sluice gate has arrived at the Town. RFP are being sent for installation. If it gets completed then we would then put in the Carp Gate if approved .Should be done is September after the beaches are closed. The lake will be lowered.
Grant: still pending - Pat got a call from Rich Williams stating he got paperwork for 3 grants. One for the town, one for CARP, and another grant is for clearing of the property for the walking path, retaining walls at the beach; shoreline remediation; drainage on Jackson beach. Tell them what we want and the work can’t be done until the grant is approved. Then we can proceed. How do we get it going and what do we need to do?
Fire Dept Sign – Pending – needs approval
Out of District Membership – Hank will re-write the letter and send it to the town. If they have a receipt for swim team they can get a membership for this year.
US Communities: Our request was to set up a meeting – but the town said it would take a lot of money to re-write the town law.
Emails – keep trying to update the email list.
We need a handyman – Hank will call a few people.
Garbage cans – we need to find out where they are – Marguerite and Pat to make sure they were ordered and when they will be delivered?
Docks & Rafts: Tom provided new pricing and needs to follow up on a few questions that are pending. They fold out of the water. Need to be durable for the swim team (kick offs) Maximum people on the raft? We need a quote. $37k
911 address: There are no one 911 addresses for the beaches or the ball field. Check to see if the boat house has an address. Then we need to request an address.
Tree removal: Ask Bill Henry for an estimate.
