We Did Algaecide treatments 2 weeks ago – water a little green/brown but starting to look clear
Carp: once Dec approves, the town has the plans for the gate. Lower the lake a little to fix the sluice gate and install the carp gate if approved
Out of District memberships: Have to live in Patterson or Brewster – this is a trial year for 10 families. It will be voted on each year.
Basketball courts: Pat contacted Terry Bergendorff Collins Land Surveying about the tax maps but they have the wrong map – Pat needs to get the correct tax map.
Walking Path – in the process of how to do it. In the fall we will need volunteers to clear brush
Doggie posts: We ordered more signs. They will be put up soon. All dogs within the park district have to be picked up after.
Walkout and rafts – We got a price but it is out of our budget. We have another place to look at and get prices. Walkouts need to have some updates. If we get new next year, the good one from Warren Beach can be moved over to Jackson beach. Hank knows of some possible grants available.
Beaches are open for the season
Fishing tournament July 18th: 13 + older. Then later in the afternoon – the kids can fish for $5 each kid
Beach party – Warren Beach August 1 – adults only, DJ, drinks and food, dancing
Neighborhood Signs: Ready to be put up. We need to get permission from the county to add them to the county signs - Next meeting in September
We need to talk about stop signs and speeding with the Town/ Sherriff.
