Out-of-district Users: Hank noted that we have one out of district family who paid the $125 fee so that their child could join the swim team.
Trash Barrels: Hank said that the wrong lids came with the barrels. The board agreed that domed lids should be ordered to keep rain and animals out of the trash. Hank will ask Tom Douglas if he can order the new lids.
Ballfield Survey: The board approved going ahead with asking Bergendorff Collins to go ahead with the survey and boundary stake-out of the ballfield so that we can be ready to go when the bids come in for the site work.
Lifeguard Supervision: Hank suggested that next year we should seriously consider hiring an adult who will be able to supervise, train and schedule the lifeguards as Lake Carmel does.
Swim Team and Swim Lessons: Hank suggested that we consider outsourcing the swim lesson instructions to a responsible adult. Only six children took lessons this year. Pat asked about the number of swim team participants as well as income and expense. Hank will have Alicia provide the information
2016 Budget: Pat notified the board that the Town will be looking for our proposed 2016 budget. The board agreed that we should present the same figures that we had for 2015 since very little would change. Hank will prepare an estimated lifeguard payroll.
Hudson Beach: Marguerite was asked if Hudson Beach could be cleaned up, specifically the vines on the fence. The board agreed that this was the type of project that could be done by court-ordered service. Pat will contact the court.
