Work Session:

Clay: The low and only bid for delivering 22 tons of clay was reviewed and sent to the Town Board for its approval at its April 13th meeting.
Fencing and Backstop: The low and only bid for replacing the backstop and dugout fencing was reviewed and sent to the Town Board for its approval at its April 13th meeting.
Seasonal Lawn Care: The Town has received three bids for mowing the ballfield and beaches. After discussing the financial advantage of outsourcing the beach mowing, the PLPD board recommended that the Town Board accept the low bid from All Seasons Landscaping for the beaches as well as the ballfield.
Basketball Court: Rich Williams and the Putnam County Highway Department met at the ballfield to assess the drainage issues coming off and from under Haviland Dr. They determined that a manhole and drain pipe was needed to divert the water which they would provide if the PLPD provided the labor. The county will also extend the guardrail to protect the players on the court. The PLPD board agreed that the shed needs to be moved off town property.
Swim team: Pat will send a blast email to the email list asking if anyone is interested in taking over
Recycling bins: Pat will order bins for the ballfield and both active beaches.
Goose deterrents: Pat will order the retractable goose fencing for the active beaches as well as a coyote statue.
