​Please be advised that SOLitude Lake Management will be applying the algaecide product, Cutrine Plus this Wednesday morning June 22, 2016.
They will spray the product from a fan boat as they have done in previous years.  They plan to start around 9:30 AM and should finish around noon.
The DEC has made it clear that the use of Cutrine Plus does not impact swimming, fishing or boating, but fishermen might want to steer clear of the fan boat to avoid getting caught in the spray.
To repeat - it will be safe to go in the water, fish or boat as soon as the product has been applied.

Putnam County Board of Health Inspector has given approvals for the opening of Warren and Jackson Beaches, for the Putnam Lake Park District.
 
Lifeguards will be at beaches for opening of the swim season this Memorial Day Weekend Sat, Sun, Mon. from 12-5 pm.
 
Saturday and Sunday from 12-6 (June 4th, 11th, 19th weekends)
 
The Regular schedule is as follows.(June 23- Sept 5)

• Monday-Thursday..................... 12pm-5pm
• Friday-Saturday........................ 12pm-7pm
• Sunday.................................... 12pm-6pm

Thursday July 30th   Allied Biological will be introducing Algaecides into the lake in an effort to reduce the risk of Blue/Green Algae with the plant die off and upcoming lake turn.They will be using an air/fan boat. We ask that there be NO Swimming, fishing and or recreational use for 24-36 Hrs. (approx. 10 am Thurs til 12 pm Fri)  
The Patterson Town Board & Putnam Lake Park District Board have been working with them to do all that is possible to help the quality of Putnam Lake. This is the second half of the treatment started last week.

Allied Biological has been doing Weed Map Survey and Permit applications with the D.E.C.

Allied Biological will be starting the weed mapping process on the lake.
They will be using a motor boat to assist there efforts for the next few days.

Warren Beach walk out and dock set up will begin at 11 am
Parkland Clean up will begin at Warren Beach at 11 am. Bags and Instruction will be given to groups for organization of areas. Any help is appreciated.

The 2014 Softball Season will start on Sunday April 27th.
